I want to take one minute, on a day when time feels a little strange for all of us, to say this:

Whether you are celebrating Thanksgiving today, taking a well-earned day off, working through the holiday, or simply trying to find a quiet moment in the middle of the chaos, I am grateful you are here.
You are part of a community of parents who are doing something courageous:
Choosing not to settle.
Choosing to build.
Choosing to create a different future for their families, one small step at a time.
And I know days like today can bring up a mix of things:
joy
exhaustion
gratitude
loneliness
pressure
or simply the desire for a nap you will probably never get
Wherever you are in that emotional spectrum, know this:
You matter.
Your work matters.
Your dreams matter.
And even if today is not a holiday for you, or if it is a complicated one, I am thankful for your presence, your attention, and your trust.
So here is my wish for you:
